Models and Props
Art Models pose for studio classes including, but not limited to, figure drawing and painting, head drawing, costumed portraiture and sculpture classes. We hire a diverse variety of models, including models of varying ages, genders, physical looks and experience levels.
The College’s art models are hired as part-time, temporary, on-call basis. Temporary employees have variable hours and may work for a temporary period due to a short-term need and whose employment will automatically end when the College determines that the need for the employee’s services has ended.

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a classroom studio setting. Due to the nature of the work, the work station is exposed to bondo, paint, and other artist supplies from studio rooms and direct contact with hazardous waste containers.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to sustain a full range of poses for up to 25 minutes. Involves constant physical effort that may include gesture, character and anatomical poses.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
