Our faculty of artists, critics and theorists provides graduates with a comprehensive understanding of art history, art making and contemporary art.

The program also welcomes an annual rotation of internationally recognized artists, historians and writers who address the cultural, historical and political currents that shape art making and the creative process.

Our program is also uniquely global in character. Our faculty are internationally recognized artists from Los Angeles, Berlin, Cologne and Vancouver. Each year the program hosts an artist-in-residence from the city of Berlin, and our students study abroad in Paris, Cologne, Berlin, and Mexico City, to name just a few places.
