ArtCenter: What are you working on right now?
Quinton McCurine (MFA 11 Studio Art) artist and educator: I am currently working on a series of science-fiction books set to be released in China in Mandarin next year.

AC: What’s the one tool you can’t do without?
QM: Involving other people in my creative process.

AC: What’s the first site you look at when you open your computer in the morning?
QM: I always cruise the news feeds even though personalized algorithms prevent me from seeing a more objective reality.

Life after college requires more intensive, more focused study.

QM: Cerebral, creative, honest and a bit of a wanker sometimes.

AC: What’s your best piece of advice for an ArtCenter student interested in following your career path?
QM: Life after college requires more intensive, more focused study. But only process things which are useful. Trim the fat.
