*Each term the Graphic Design Department at ArtCenter invites three design professionals to address a certain topic of interest. The Q&A will be moderated by Petrula Vrontikis.
Justin is a multi-disciplinary designer based in San Francisco. He always finds opportunities to work with people from different industries. Justin helped design mobile features such as “Motorola Active Display” and “Droid Dream” as a visual design intern at Motorola Mobility, designed a set of collectable buttons for “Linsanity”, a documentary film about NBA star Jeremy Lin, and rebrands startup companies in LA and SF. He was selected as a “Creative Five” to work on the Data Arts Team at Google Creative Lab in 2014 and continued to work as a visual designer on the Android team at Google in 2015.
Lisa creates visual designs across all aspects of Snapchat’s Content team. This ranges from designing bite-sized graphics know as “Geofilters” for Our Stories which are used and seen by millions, working with and art directing content produced by external partners such as Teen Vogue, and creating content for Shows on Snapchat such as "Good Luck America".
Stanley is a LA-based designer and art director with experience in brand identity, print, typography, interactive design, strategy, and art direction. He has worked with clients including Facebook, Google, Beats, Acura, and the Sundance Film Festival. His work has received numerous awards from the Type Directors Club's Best in Show, Cannes Gold Lion, and Complex Magazine's “25 People Shaping the Future of Design”. He is currently working as an art director on brand design and marketing campaign for Apple Music and Beats 1.
