Be our guest for a live, online conversation with David Mocarski, Chair of ArtCenter College of Design’s Undergraduate Environmental Design and Graduate Environmental Design departments.

Join David from the comfort of your computer for a discussion of how he applies the knowledge and experience he has accrued throughout his 30-year career as a spatial and furniture designer to teach his students to approach these disciplines from the inside out. At the undergraduate level, an emphasis on spatial experiences produces leaders in the fields of furniture, lighting and interior component design. In the graduate program, students choose between two tracks: Spatial Experience track, which addresses the relationship between body, materials, space and emotions; or the Furniture and Fixtures track, which investigates the relationship among space, place, function and application of furniture and fixture design, emphasizing innovation, industry standards and the manufacturing process. David will also share work being done by his award-winning students and alumni.

This session will culminate in a Q&A, offering you the chance to chat with David directly, as well as ask questions of Tim Campos, ArtCenter’s Director of Recruitment Programs.
