In 1980 New York City was still the mecca of advertising and almost all of Glenn Dady’s graduating class found positions there. With their first child on the way, Dady and his wife knew NYC wasn’t for them. He took a job at The Richards Group, a small regional shop in Dallas doing terrific advertising and design, thinking he’d only stay for a couple of years. Thirty-six years later he’s still there, working for the legendary Stan Richards—and still enjoying it. Today The Richards Group has grown into the largest independent advertising agency in the U.S. with a staff of over 700, including 100 creatives (many of them ArtCenter grads). Adweek has named Dady to their Creative All-Star Team four times. And his work has been honored many times by the Art Directors Club, The One Show, Communication Arts, the Clios and Cannes.
