Assaf Horowitz was born and raised in Israel. Like many artists, he's been making art as long as he can remember. Shortly after finishing military service, he got his professional start as an artist working on an animated feature in Israel. He then moved to the mecca of the entertainment industry—Los Angeles—to learn the craft in one of the best schools in the world for it: ArtCenter. He feels very fortunate to have worked on a wide range of projects: movies, TV, gaming, advertising and virtual reality. For Horowitz, drawing is more than a hobby, more than a passion—it's a need. Because of his love of imagination and storytelling, it’s how he shares with the world the things going on in his mind. Professionally, his title is always changing: concept artist, visual development artist, painter, designer. But one thing never changes: He can't imagine doing anything else.
