Michael Osborne is president and creative director of Michael Osborne Design in San Francisco. The firm’s work in brand package design, print collateral systems, and strategic identity and branding programs has been recognized for outstanding design by virtually every design organization and design publication. Osborne’s work is in the permanent collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum in Washington, D.C., and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and has been exhibited in numerous galleries, including J.J. Brookings Gallery, Smith Anderson Gallery, Gallery 16, Tercera Gallery and the SFMOMA Artists Gallery. In 2006, Osborne received the prestigious AIGA Fellow Award. In 2006, Osborne started Joey’s Corner, a nonprofit which provides pro bono graphic design services for nonprofit organizations. Clients include the Alzheimer’s Association, March of Dimes, Heart to Heart, Family Service Agency and California Music Project.
