A native of Thailand, Vanessa Marzaroli is an Emmy-winning director and designer whose work combines elegant and startling textures with a soulful core. Her wide variety of projects include commercial films for Audi, Hewlett-Packard, Visa and Target. Marzaroli has been a longtime collaborator with Mirada Studios and a creative director for the industry’s most respected production companies including Logan, Blind and Motion Theory. Her music video for The Cinematic Orchestra’s “Lilac Wine” earned Marzaroli her second Emmy, an LIA Gold award, a Red Stick Festival Gold award, a Baton D’or and other honors. She was an animation director on Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” which won an MTV Video Music Award for best direction. Marzaroli is among a small sorority of sought-after female motion designers, and her work has been honored by the Art Directors Club, D&AD, Type Directors Club, Association of Independent Commercial Producers, BDA, Prix Arts and the Cannes Film Festival.
