A 25-year design veteran, Harald Belker is most recognized for his movie vehicles and graphically bold designs for over 30 films, including the Batmobile for Warner Bros.’ "Batman & Robin," the futuristic cars of Steven Spielberg’s "Minority Report," "Armageddon," "Inspector Gadget," "Cat in the Hat," "Tron: Legacy" and "Total Recall" (the 2012 version). He started out designing cars for Porsche in Germany and Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design in California, where he worked on the Smart car and the S- and M-class models. His design credits include a series of Hot Wheels for Mattel, award-winning furniture and a line of sunglasses for Kaenon. Belker is the author of two books, "Pulse" and "Ride," and co-author of "Concept Design" and "Concept Design 2," published by Design Studio Press. Recently he joined forces with Anki, a consumer robotics company in San Francisco, as the head of design for all cars and accessories.
