Biographys

Brad Bartlett is a designer, educator and author. He has taught at ArtCenter College of Design since 1999 and was awarded Great Teacher in 2003 and again in 2014. Brad is Director of Transmedia in the Graphic Design department and on-screen author at LinkedIn Learning, where he recently published a course on Transmedia Typography.

Brad works with global brands, international publishers, leading cultural institutions and visionary artists. His LA-based studio has been recognized by Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, Communication Arts, Dezeen, AIGA 50 Books/50 Covers, Graphis, ID, How and Print, among numerous others. He is also a four-time winner of the Frances Smyth-Ravenel Grand Prize for Excellence in Design by the American Alliance of Museums. 

Brad earned his Masters Degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art, presenting research at MIT and Fabrica of Benetton in Italy. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Design from North Carolina State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
