Employee Experience and Engagement (HR)

You are at the center of what we do.

If the Employee Experience and Engagement (HR) department had a motto, that would be it—we are here for you, whether you are an applicant seeking additional information about a job opening, a new hire, full- or part-time staff or faculty, or a retiree with questions about benefits. We want you to have a safe place to work, feel valued in your role, be motivated to advance your career and have a healthy work-life balance.

Mission Statement

Employee Experience and Engagement (HR) is committed to ArtCenter’s mission, vision and goals and will serve as a collaborative, strategic business partner with the campus community to deliver effective HR programming to align with the College. We aim to CREATE a positive human experience from hire to retirement and everything in between with the following core values:

Community. Valuing and embracing each other’s individuality and ensuring that diversity, equity, inclusion, access and belonging guide decision-making related to HR services, programs and recruitment of the workforce.

Responsible. Conducting business as credible practitioners with professionalism, leadership, transparency, honesty, effective communication, integrity and accountability while ensuring compliance.

Environment. Ensuring a balance between the community and environment through safety and wellness programming, which will enable everyone to thrive, create and innovate.

Approachable. Creating an open, confidential and safe environment to express concerns and exchange ideas.

Transformational. Transforming programs and practices by using modern approaches for continuous improvement.

Engagement. Engaging internal and external customers in a manner that demonstrates excellent customer-focused and solution-based services through accurate, timely and efficient responses to service requests.
