There are no formal deadlines for the undergraduate programs with the exception of Entertainment Design. ArtCenter reviews applications on a rolling basis - however, we recommend submitting your application by the priority dates. If you are not ready to apply or miss these dates, we have rolling admission and we will consider applications until your major fills.
The deadline is ideal for Fall applicants who are well prepared to submit their application, portfolio, and all required materials by November 15. Applicants applying for Early Action will be notified of their decision by January. If you are declined for Early Action, you have the option to reapply for the following spring term but cannot reapply for the same term. If you are applying for financial aid and/or scholarship, you will receive notification of your Financial Aid Offer by the end of January.
The priority date is ideal for applicants who are well prepared to submit their application, portfolio, and all required materials by February 1 for Fall, and October 1 for Spring. Decisions are typically finalized within 2-3 weeks. If you are declined during the Priority Deadline, you have the option to reapply for the following term but cannot reapply for the same term. If you are applying for financial aid and/or scholarship, you will receive notification of your Financial Aid Offer by the end of April for Fall applicants and the beginning of November for Spring applicants.
Entertainment Design has a priority deadline of February 1 for Fall, and October 1 for Spring. The Concept and Animation Tracks admit students in both the Fall and the Spring. The Game Design Track admits students in the Fall only. After the priority deadline passes, the department will decide whether or not to continue accepting applications on an ongoing basis. Contact the Admissions Office and we will inform you if applications are still being accepted for a specific term.
To receive your Financial Aid offer, U.S. Citizens and Permanent Resident students must submit the 2025-2026 FAFSA. The 2025-2026 FAFSA will be available for all students to complete by December 1, 2024. Some students may be invited by the Department of Education to submit the application earlier during a testing period from October 1 to December 1, 2024. All U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents should submit the 2025-2026 FAFSA as soon as possible after it is available for them to complete.
