Biographys

A graduate of ArtCenter, Daniel Sorenson has been teaching here since 2009. Throughout his career, he has worked for many high-profile clients, including Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox and Universal. He received first place awards for art direction and design from the Mobius International Awards and Promax for work he conceived and created for Universal Television. Sorenson is author of Photoshop for Advertis­ing and Marketing—Secrets of an Entertainment Insider, published by Peachpit Press. He has also written articles for Photoshop User magazine, Layers magazine and is author of Title Sequence Design, an After Effects tutorial for Lynda.com (now LinkedIn Learning). Today, Sorenson splits his time between producing and editing videos for international marketing campaigns, creating brand identities, and painting. His painting “Persona” was recently exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Okayama, Japan and he is planning a solo exhibition to be held in Tokyo, Japan.
