Biography

Born and raised in San Diego, Shawn moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to attend ArtCenter.  He graduated in 2006 with a bachelor's degrees in Transportation Design.

Shawn's work experience includes several major Product and Transportation Design studios, both as a designer and a 3D modeler.  He is experienced in almost every step of the car design process, from early Ideation sketching all the way to Class-A production-ready 3D surfacing. 

Studio experience includes work done for Tesla, Ford, Peugeot/Citroen (PSA), Audi, BMW, GM Advanced Design, Subaru, Honda, Volvo Trucks, Nitto Tires, Walt Disney Imagineering and several others.

Shawn has also been teaching Vehicle Design and Alias 3D modeling in Los Angeles since 2010.

Currently Shawn is following his creative passion through his brand Concept Design Quest.  He's also published a book by that same name that you can find at the ArtCenter library.
