Biography

Parker Fredlund has been teaching in the Graduate Transportation Systems and Design program since 2012, and recently began teaching Visual 7 for the Undergrad Transportation Design program in 2025. He focuses on digital design tools for 2D, 3D, and animated storytelling. In his full-time role outside of ArtCenter, he currently holds the role of 3D Visual Designer at Ford, and has held roles at Volvo, Fisker, and 3DExcite. His responsibilities include wheel and component design, 3D visualization, storytelling, presentation, strategy and other digital design activities in the studio. His classes take students on real-world examples using a variety of design software to quickly iterate ideas in a professional and compelling way.
