Biography

My executive and entrepreneurial experience in design and brand creation and development gives me a unique insight into brand-driven companies, their customers and consumers. This experience drives my teaching and work as the director of wearables and soft goods design in the Product Design Department.

I am a "shoe dog," having spent my career using design to increase athlete performance with Adidas, Reebok, K-Swiss and the brand I designed and founded called Piloti. I am passionate about all forms of motorsport and car culture, for which Piloti supplied competition and street-casual footwear and accessories.

On a personal note, I am a private pilot and my wife and I train in hunter-jumper equestrian sport. When I was a student at ArtCenter I played tenor sax in the Vocalions blues band.
