Biographys

Bora is an award-winning design leader focused on building socially responsible brands and user-centric service products with 10+ years of design experience.

One of her passions is to help achieve social equity and shared well-being through design-driven processes. This exploration led her to reach career milestones that include: serving as the first designer at the LA Mayor's Office where she led the City staff leverage human-centered design to address complex challenges; implementing a design fellowship track at the UNICEF's Office of Innovation so county offices in country such as Uganda and Nigeria can work with design talents; and serving as the Partner at verynice where dedicating half of its design service as pro-bono is the integral part of the business model.

Bora's work won many awards such as The Type Director's Club, AIGA 365, and How Magazine International Design Annual. She holds a BFA degree in Graphic Design with a concentration in Environmental Design from Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA degree in Media Design Practices from ArtCenter College of Design.
