Amy Reid Hirst is an artist and designer living and working in San Francisco. Originally from London, Reid Hirst holds a BA from Goldsmiths College, University of London and an MA in Communication Art and Design from the Royal College of Art in London. Her work covers a wide range of mediums including screenprint, surface design, illustration and clothing design. As part of the print team at Paul Smith in London, she oversaw the Europe and Japan lines for women's print. In Los Angeles, she was the head women's designer for TOMS shoes. Most recently, she was a senior design consultant at Levi's in San Francisco. Other selected clients include Roland Mouret, Jonathan Saunders, Dr. Martens, Saatchi, and Saatchi and Google. Also a passionate screenprinter, she has taught classes and managed the screen printing workshop at London Printworks Trust and was a postgraduate artist at the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia.
