Biography

Jae Min graduated from ArtCenter College of Design with a degree in Transportation Design with honors in 1994.

Since then, he was firstly with Audi in both California (Simi Valley, CA) and Germany (Ingolstadt), and eventually served as Chief Designer at Audi Design Center California by 2007, Volkswagen Group Design Center California in 2010 (Santa Monica, CA), then VW Group Future Center California (Belmont, CA) from 2018 to end of 2019.

Jae then joined Samsung Electronics in their HQ Corporate Design Center (CDC henceforth) in Seoul, Korea, as Vice President of Strategy team and Next Experience Design gourp in 2019, then VP of Next Generation Design Group in 2020 and 2021.

Relocating back to US, Jae served as a Samsung CDC Advisory board member in 2022.

Jae also has been an instructor at the ArtCenter since 1996 (gap from 2019 - 2021 due to location), teaching various Design, CAD, Viscomm and Concept Development classes.

He currently serves as a professor of undergraduate transportation department.
