Born and raised in Southern California, Llanos graduated from ArtCenter’s Illustration program with honors in 2003. In addition to doing commissioned works, Llanos has taught figure drawing/painting, head drawing, and character and costume design courses. He’s worked with a wide variety of students ranging from Woodbury University, Brentwood Art Center and ArtCenter. Llanos has exhibited in many galleries throughout Southern California since 2003. In the early 2000s, Llanos also did some illustrations for independent newspapers and magazines.
