Jeannie Winston

Biography

Jeannie Winston is a Los Angeles-based artist who brings more than thirty years of experience in illustration, children's books, infant bedding, and surface and textile art to her design process. After studying Fine Art at the University of California, Los Angeles, and General Education at the University of Southern California, she studied Illustration at ArtCenter, where she shifted focus to designing textiles. She has an ongoing collaboration with the interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, who launched his inaugural textile line, and is currently working on his latest collection of textiles. Constantly curious about the world around her, Winston believes that harmony and balance have the ability to transform lives. Using this principle, Winston is currently creating a new line of rugs for Mehraban Rugs in Los Angeles.
