Biography

Ken Marchionno had his first national publication in the American Infrared Survey, followed by a touring international exhibition when he was in his twenties. He received his first grant in the Humanities soon after, followed by an individual artist fellowship. Ken has received grants, published images and writings, and exhibited his work internationally ever since.

From 2004 to 2006 Marchionno was a stringer for the Associated Press. From 2004 to 2014, he regularly assisted photographers Annie Leibovitz and Steven Klein, capturing images and on-set retouching for Vogue and Vanity Fair. Ken was also the lighting designer for Guess Watches 25th Anniversary Campaign and did the retouching for Forum Snowboards’ 2009 campaign and Daisy Fuentes' 2014 fashion line.

In 2017, he received the California Community Foundation Fellowship, and was included in a major survey show at the Riverside Museum of Art in 2019. In 2021, Marchionno had his solo exhibition at the Lancaster Museum of Art and History.
