Biography

Brian Wallace - Sound Designer

Brian began perfecting the art of recording long before he founded his first commercial studio in 2002. As a kid, he made countless cassettes of sounds, songs, and stories as audible postcards to his grandparents. Naturally drawn to the art of Foley, he began practicing and collecting techniques from the greats.  In high school, he played the saxophone in rock and jazz bands and produced weekly news broadcasts for his school. By the time he was in college, he was programming at KLON 88.1 fm, a nationally syndicated radio station and recording with bands all over Los Angeles, well known for Sublime (Baritone Saxophone - 40oz to Freedom). Musicians and Filmmakers come from all over the country to record with Brian because of his industry experience, his collaborative methods, and his innate respect for the artist.  Most days he can be found working both sides of the glass at Majestic Sound Studios.  You can learn more about his sound work and marvel at the time machine he built at www.dubrobot.com
