Printing Demonstration and Hands-On Workshop with Simon Johnston and Gloria Kondrup

Simon Johnston and Gloria Kondrup will design and hand-set a Hello LA broadside in the iconic style of the Colby Poster Printing Company. Attendees will have the opportunity to actually print.

Simon Johnston and Clive Piercy donated their collection of Colby posters to the Hoffmitz Milken Center of Typography archive at ArtCenter College of Design. Designer Clive Piercy worked on a personal project with Colby and described their work as "inimitably LA."
