Inspired by the film posters of the Polski Projekt exhibition, Hoffmitz Milken Center for Typography is hosting a screening of two Polish art films:

Dom (House), produced by Jan Lenica and Walerian Borowczyk, is a short that combines live action with various animation techniques, such as stop motion and cut-out animation. One work of a larger series, it was awarded the Grand Prix International Experimental Films Competition, Brussels in 1958.

Sanatorium pod Klepsydra (Hourglass Sanatorium) is a Polish surrealist film directed by Wojciech Has. The story follows a young Jewish man who visits his father in a mystical sanatorium where time does not behave normally. The film won the Jury Prize at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival.
