Biography

Victoria Hochberg is a Film and Television Writer/Director. She began her career as a performer with the SF Mime Troupe, won a Fulbright, returned to the US and worked for Joe Papp''s NY Shakespeare Festival. She''s made award winning documentaries (Angel Thighs, Metroliner) and music videos (Boz Scaggs, the Eagles) and directed over 50 hours of prime time television, including Sex and the City, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Kitchen Confidential, etc. She''s won two Emmy Awards for both Writing and Directing, two Directors Guild of America Awards and four nominations, was nominated for a Writers Guild Award and won a Women In Film Award for her work. Her film Metroliner will be in the permanent collection of the The Motion Picture Academy. She has served for many years on the National Board of the Directors Guild of America and is chair of the DGA''s Global Cinema committee.
