Transportation Design
Originally from Mexico, Franco Corral attended Pasadena City College out of high school and went through its Art and Design Program before being accepted to ArtCenter College of Design. He graduated from ArtCenter in 2009 with a degree in Transportation Design, doing internships at Renault Design Paris and Honda R&D. Following graduation, he was employed by Hyundai Design North America, where he spent 6 years working on production and advanced projects for the Hyundai and Genesis brands. After Hyundai, he joined Honda Advanced Design, where he spent 5 years working on 2040 vision projects under the Honda brand portfolio and now most recently as part of the Production Exterior Design team. Franco has been teaching at ArtCenter since 2015. He taught classes in Interior 3, Interior 4B, Viscom 6, and Portfolio & Presentation.
