Biographys

Disney veteran Michael Humphries has been a background artist, visual development artist and art director for Disney Feature Animation and Disney Television since 1977, and continues to do work for Disney Fine Art, Collectors Editions in addition to teaching full-time at ArtCenter since 2007. 

Film Credits include: Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Great Mouse Detective, The Rescuers Down Under, The Lion King,  The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Home on the Range, Fantasia 2000, Brother Bear, The Princess and the Frog, Kung Foo Panda (short), Disney shorts, "One by One" (art director) and Academy Award-nominated short film "The Little Match Girl" (art director), as well as Production Designer for Sony Pictures first feature-length animated movie  "Open Season" (Annie Award nomination as Production Designer).

Lifetime member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. For screen credits for film and television visit iMDB. Michael's book "Visual Storytelling with Color and Light" is due to be released in 2020.
