Adam Dix was born in the United States and raised in Chile. He attended the Academy of Art Univeristy in San Francisco for college. For the first four years of his career, Dix worked in San Francisco as a designer for Disney Interactive where he participated in creating mobile games. He then moved to Los Angeles and began working in animation at DisneyTV on Sofia the First, Elena of Avalor and DuckTales. Then, Dix moved to Dreamworks TV to work as a character desinger on Boss Baby Back in Business. Dix has worked at Cartoon Network (Victor and Valentino), Nickelodeon (The Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and at Warner Bros (DC Superhero Girls). Recently, Dix worked on titles including Central Park (AppleTV) and The Cuphead Show(Netflix) where he focused on prop and effects design. Currently, he is working on the sixth season of Rick and Morty. Dix instructs the character design courses at ArtCenter and has been doing so for four years.
