Biography

I’m an educator, product designer, software developer, and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of industry experience and over 15 years teaching interaction design, UX, digital product design, and emerging technologies.

My work sits at the intersection of design, technology, and learning. As a Senior Principal Product Designer at Yahoo, I led UX strategy and design systems for enterprise SaaS products, helped reduce development time by 30%, and advanced accessibility-first design across cloud applications. As an independent consultant, I have advised executives, led multidisciplinary teams, and designed full-stack products that improve workflows and create meaningful user experiences.

At ArtCenter College of Design, I develop curriculum, lead sponsored studios, mentor graduate thesis students, and integrate accessibility, AI-assisted workflows, and rapid prototyping into the classroom. I have mentored more than 1,000 students, many of whom now work at leading technology companies.

I’m also a lifelong builder and founder. I have launched products spanning AI-powered fitness, EdTech, SaaS, mobile applications, and digital communities—including a platform that grew to more than 80,000 users. I’m driven by ambitious ideas, thoughtful execution, and the opportunity to make complex technology more useful, accessible, and human.
