Biographys

Guno Park is an artist who was born in Seoul, Korea, grew up in Toronto, Canada and is now living in Brooklyn, New York. Park graduated from Sheridan College with a degree in Classical Animation in 2001. Around 2003, Park started teaching figure drawing at Sheridan and shortly after at Seneca College. Park continued his academic studies at Ontario College of Art Design and received his BFA in 2008. He then moved to New York to pursue his MFA at the New York Academy of Art. After graduating, Park continued teaching drawing classes privately and at schools in New York, including SVA, New York Film Academy, Marymount College and New York Academy of Art. Park's drawings have been in numerous publications including the cover of Drawing Magazine, Iggy Pop Drawing Class, Subway Stations of the Cross and Drawn to MoMA Magazine. Park's drawings hang in multiple private collections throughout North America, Europe, and Asia including the Brooklyn Museum.
