Biography

Gee Yeung is CEO at RumbleBox with over 20+ years of experience in entertainment & education. Recently he was creative director and producer for Pacific Standard Universe and supervised Signs of Life for Griffith Observatory of LA. Gee has a BFA in computer art and illustration. He started his career at BlueSky/VIFX on films including Jingle All the Way, Star Trek Insurrection, Blade, and Titanic. At Rhythm & Hues, he lead VFX work on Alvin and the Chipmunks, Elf, Superman Returns, and Mummy 3. Following that, he lead a visual development team at Dreamworks Animation on feature film B.O.O. and was an artist onTurbo. Afterwards, transitioning into virtual/augmented reality content development for the DreamLab VR team. From there, he was art director on the BluVR for the start-up WeVR. Continuing in VFX by supervising Star Trek Beyond for Bad Robot and various projects for FuseFX. He also directed projects for Otoy, Invisible Thread & KodanshaVR. Currently, he is creating, directing and producing content for RumbleBox and working in academia to build, teach & learn.
