Biography

Kristy Kay is a Los Angeles based Visual Development Artist with more than a decade of experience in the entertainment industry.

She has contributed to feature animated films, games, series and commercials at studios including: Netflix, Sony Pictures Animation, Paramount Animation, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, Sony Playstation VR, Laika/ House, Tonko House, Universal Music Group, and Mattel. She has created illustrations for Adidas Outdoor, Touchstone Climbing, Women’s Weekly Magazine UK.

Her notable film and series credits include: The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run, Hotel Transylvania 2, Smurfs: The Lost Village, Thelma the Unicorn, Under the Boardwalk, Back to the Outback, and Oscar Nominated short film, The Dam Keeper, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. In the gaming industry, she worked as a Concept Artist on the VR inclubator team at Playstation.
