Product design is about applying the design process to any number of problems in the world, from social innovation challenges to redesigning organizations.

Our faculty of professionals, who currently practice in all areas of the field—from footwear design to business systems strategy—prepares students to be creative citizens of the 21st century poised for meaningful careers that positively impact the world. Thanks to its proximity to manufacturing and the Pacific Rim, the Product Design department taps professionals who understand the demands of today’s creative environment and emphasize the creation of consumer product designs that blend style and function to improve lives.
