An intimate evening of film and conversation exploring the work and perspective of Laurie Olin, a visionary designer whose landscapes have shaped how we experience public space.
FullCircle presents a special screening of SITTING STILL, a visually rich and deeply personal portrait of acclaimed landscape architect Laurie Olin.
More than a documentary, SITTING STILL offers a quiet and reflective exploration of how design shapes human experience and our relationship to place, through the perspectives of Olin and his most beloved work in the United States, including Bryant Park, the gardens of the Getty Center, the grounds of the Washington Monument, and Columbus Circle.
A limited number of guests will have the opportunity to attend a pre-screening reception with the filmmaker, Gina Angelone, who will offer insight into the making of the film.
The evening will conclude with a conversation and Q&A with Gina, moderated by Ann Field, Chair of the Illustration Department.
This event is proudly presented in partnership with the American Institute of Architects, Pasadena and Foothill Chapter (AIAPF).
