The Rose Valley Game Jam brings high school and college-aged students together with industry professionals for an exciting weekend to create games. The game jam brings game design challenges in which you'll take an idea from concept to working prototype in 48 hours.
From Friday evening through Sunday night, participants will get hands-on opportunities in designing video games, pitching concepts and working in teams, culminating with an award ceremony and public showcase for friends and family. Throughout the weekend, there will be industry guest speakers, prizes and portfolio reviews.
Be aware, space is limited and we're doing our best to allow everyone to participate. Please complete the application form and we will get back to you by February 14, 2020 regarding your acceptance.

Our special guest speakers on Saturday night include:
Aram Granger (Senior VFX Artist, EA DICE LA)
Aram has been making visual effects for film, television, commercials and video games for over 20 years. He's won three Emmy Awards, two Clio Awards and a Golden Lion for his work in episodic television and television commercials. He has been at various EA studios for the past 12 years, including EALA, Victory Games and DICE LA, from which he's currently on loan to Respawn Entertainment. His TV and movie credits include Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Speed Racer, Van Helsing, and Serenity. His video game credits include games in the Battlefield series (BF 4, BF1, and BFV), Medal of Honor and Command & Conquer.
Ed Moore (Experience Designer, EA DICE LA)
Ed is a veteran game developer and UX design specialist. With over 20+ years of experience in the gaming industry working on hit titles such as Medal of Honor, Lord of the Rings, Sonic, Battlefield and Star Wars, Ed is always seeking opportunities to deepen his expertise and to champion the needs of customers through user-centered research and intuitive UX design. He enjoys opportunities for mentorship and to share his insights and experiences through public speaking.
Andrew Clayton (Game Designer, EA Respawn Entertainment)
Andrew started his career as a tester and worked his way up to the design position he currently holds. He specializes in FPS games and has worked on titles like Battlefield 4, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and is now working on Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.
