Faculty Affairs

The Office of Faculty Affairs, led by the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs, oversees all faculty policy, compensation, promotion and rank issues. The Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs also co-chairs the Faculty Policy and Status Committee, attends Faculty Council meetings and sits on Senior Staff.

Teaching and Learning

Teaching and Learning, led by the Associate Provost for Teaching and Learning, oversees all faculty development programs and workshops, New Faculty Orientation, faculty mentoring, teaching and learning resources and assessment cohort training and support. The Associate Provost for Teaching and Learning also co-chairs the Council for Diversity and Inclusion and attends Faculty Council meetings. The Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL), Digital Teaching and Learning (DTL), the College Library, the Heavin Production Studio and the Writing Center are all housed under Teaching and Learning.

Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL)

The Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning is an active component of faculty life at ArtCenter. CITL supports faculty through workshops, one-on-one coaching sessions and classroom observations. Topics range from pedagogy and assessment, to course and instructional evolution through new teaching tools and academic technologies.

College Library

The College Library actively supports the teaching and research mission of ArtCenter. It serves as the College’s main collaborative learning environment, where students and faculty from various departments gather to explore, discover and create. It is also open to alumni and external researchers.
